Program staff are available according to local regulations, offering 24/7 support for emergencies and pharmacovigilance reporting
The program aims to support medically eligible patients who cannot financially afford their medication
Patient eligibility is determined based on healthcare professionals' assessments
Eligible patients can take their medication according to the healthcare professional's prescription

Partner Company’s Roles & Responsibilities:

The company supports the local team in any program-related inquiries and acknowledges notifications from staff regarding the program
The company provides feedback related to the program to ensure that the team is updated
The company offers historical cost data for the program per patient for two months at the program's start
The company pays invoices raised by Helsenmed after approving the consolidated copayment report
The company provides Helsenmed with an approved indication list for program-supported medications in Qatar for medical eligibility confirmation and promptly updates the list when new indications are added to the drug label

Patient Communication and Management

We maintain patient enrollment, monitor medication usage, and swiftly address issues. If patients choose not to enroll, their reasons are recorded for future improvements. Support is provided, covering a portion of medication costs, and assistance is given in physician introductions. Safety is paramount, with prompt reporting of adverse events.

Helsenmed Roles & Responsibilities

Helsenmed provides support for patients in the program to maintain enrollment.
Program staff follow up with patients to ensure medication is received as prescribed.
Communication with pharmacies to address potential program-related issues.
For enrolled patients, program staff maintain up-to-date records.
Program staff contact patients who choose not to enroll and record reasons for non-enrollment.
Diagnosed patients with valid prescriptions for company medication covered by the affordability program are eligible for support.
The program covers 20% of the medication's monthly cost for eligible patients.
HCPs may introduce the program to eligible patients, who should sign consent and referral forms.
Proper reporting of adverse events is ensured and sent to the company's Drug Safety Unit on time.
HelsenMed reviews referral and consent forms before contacting the patient.

Healthcare Professionals Communication and Management

Helsenmed Roles & Responsibilities

Program staff communicate with Health Care Professionals (HCPs) as needed and in coordination with the company team for patient enrollment and follow-up.
Program staff handle all inquiries from HCPs related to the program within one business day.
Regular updates and responses to inquiries from HCPs are provided.
Program staff may reach out to HCPs by phone if necessary.
Helsenmed supports the company team in running audio-visual activities for HCPs to raise awareness about the program's patient journey.

Partner Company’s Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide Helsenmed with an approved physician list.
Support Helsenmed in visits to physicians to introduce and inform them about the program.
Ensure adherence to agreed services.

Collaboration with us ensures patients' well-being comes first. Ongoing coordination meets patients' needs while safeguarding their data's confidentiality. Accurate and timely resources are provided, ensuring the program operates seamlessly.

Helsenmed Roles & Responsibilities

Program staff periodically update and coordinate with the company team involved in the program.
Weekly meetings address new inquiries, feedback, and local regulations.
Minutes of weekly meetings are sent to the company's concerned team.
Meetings related to pharmacovigilance, patient safety, quality, and finance are arranged with the company team.
All communication and meetings related to the program maintain patient data confidentiality.
Helsenmed provides accurate resources for program implementation, including reports on enrolled patients, consolidated copayments, and pharmacovigilance.

Partner Company’s Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide a point of contact from the company's side for effective communication.
Facilitate and coordinate with concerned departments.
Support team in workshops, training, or meetings related to the program.
Ensure stock availability of supported medication.
Review and discuss monthly reports, conduct spot checks, and approve reports.

Program Monitoring and Evaluation

Patient well-being drives effective program monitoring. Success is tracked regardless of the number of patients, with comprehensive reports provided. Your team reviews these reports to evaluate the program's performance, ensuring patients receive the best care.

Conduct ongoing program monitoring and reporting to identify successes and areas for improvement.
Record relevant patient data for program implementation and monitoring.
Regular monitoring occurs regardless of the number of patients referred, assessed, or enrolled in the program.
Reporting includes referral rates, enrollment rates, dropout rates, financial aid details, medication dispensing, assessment results, and HCP visit rates.

Review reports shared by Helsenmed staff for program performance evaluation.
Conduct spot checks for audit trail purposes upon company approval.
